Infor Data Lake and Birst reporting
At the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, the CFO's post-payroll dashboards used to take two days. We rebuilt the replication sets and the Birst model behind them, and now they're ready in under three hours.
What we do
- Replication sets that keep finance, payroll and supply data in the Data Lake current
- Birst models and dashboards for finance, payroll and supply chain
- Power BI on top of the Data Lake, or Tableau and other tools when that's what your team already uses
- Trial balance reports that drill down to the transactions behind each number
- SQL and stored procedures for the questions nobody planned for
Where it usually goes wrong
Reporting projects usually stall on trust. If a dashboard and the general ledger disagree by a dollar, finance goes back to Excel, so we reconcile every model to the ledger before anyone outside the project sees it.
Two examples
At ANTHC we rebuilt the replication sets and Birst model behind the CFO's post-payroll dashboards. For Catholic Community Services of Western Washington we sync finance and payroll into the Data Lake and built Power BI dashboards that drill through to the trial balance.
