The Situation
Catholic Community Services of Western Washington (CCSWW) provides social services across Western Washington. Its finance team needed reporting built on the finance and payroll data in Infor, with numbers that tie back to the general ledger.
What We Did
- Set up and manage the replication sets that sync finance and payroll systems into Infor Data Lake
- Built layered Power BI dashboards with drill-through trial balance reports
- Wrote T-SQL stored procedures and parameterized queries for the questions that come up between reports
- Mapped reporting requirements with finance leads, and worked through them in workshops and steering committee meetings
The Results
Finance can start at the trial balance and drill down to the transactions behind each number, in dashboards built on data that the replication sets keep current.
