Infor FSM for hospitals
FSM is where a hospital's money and supplies meet, so it ends up connected to nearly everything else, from the bank to the surgical system to whoever orders gauze at 2 a.m. We configure FSM and build the interfaces around it.
What we do
- Data conversion and integrations for the general ledger, payables, purchasing and inventory
- Supply interfaces to clinical systems through Infor Clinical Bridge, such as item master updates to surgical inventory
- ACH payment files to the bank for accounts payable
- Invoice capture with Infor Document Management (IDM) and OCR
- Trial balance, spend and supply reporting from the Data Lake
Where it usually goes wrong
The item master is the usual culprit. When FSM and the clinical systems disagree about what an item is or what it costs, nurses find out in the supply room, so we build the interfaces to send every change, catch every failure and tell someone right away.
An example: ANTHC
At the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, more than 20 systems connect to Infor CloudSuite Healthcare. We built the ACH payments to the bank for payables and payroll and set up IDM with Ephesoft for document intake, and we keep supply data moving to clinical systems through Clinical Bridge.
